Have your say The survey is open to every carer in the UK or to someone who has recently been caring for a loved-one, so please do spread the word and help to ensure that carers’ voices are heard loud and clear. Meet our new supporters We're delighted to announce Sainsbury's, Skills for Health & SKills for care are supporting Carers Week 2012. Sainsbury’s is now working with Employers for Carers and Carers UK to ensure all of its HR policies are carer friendly and in 2011 launched a trial scheme to identify hidden carers. Skills for care help to develop more skilled and flexible workforces to improve the quality of care.

Parliamentary Ambassadors MPs from the three main UK-wide parties have come together to support Carers Week. Margot James, Conservative MP for Stourbridge, Heidi Alexander, Labour MP for Lewisham East, and Stephen Lloyd, Lib-Dem MP for Eastbourne, have jointly agreed to take on the role of 2012 Parliamentary Ambassadors.
