LVSC to share space with Voluntary Action Islington

LVSC is set to move in with Voluntary Action Islington at their spacious Kings Cross premises in mid July this year. It is a bold move being undertaken to reduce overhead costs and maintain LVSC’s work to improve the lives of Londoners through London’s voluntary and community sector (VCS).

4in10 is re-launching with a new set of training and networking events, a news bulletin, online information resource, campaigning and other skills development for members, and a London-wide campaign on child poverty.

Trust for London is reviewing its funding priorities  - with a view to publishing new priorities for the five years 2013-17, in the summer of 2012.

They are keen to hear your views about:

· The key poverty and inequality issues in London.

· What areas of work should they fund to address these?

· How should they prioritise their funding?

· Your ideas on how to tackle these issues.

Complete a short survey that should take no more than 10 minutes to fill in.

Big Squeeze Campaign May 2011 -

LVSC and partners have recently launched the third 'Big Squeeze' campaign to study the impact of the recession and public spending cuts on the capital's voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations and the Londoners they serve.

Please take part in the survey and have a say on how the cuts and recesssion are affecting your organisations and the crucial services you provide to Londoners.

The deadline to complete the survey is 6 pm Tuesday 31st May 2011

For the past 14 years, LVSC’s PEACe service has been offering HR and employment support to the voluntary sector in London.
