The draft code of practice on the free entitlement for 3 & 4 year olds - your views!

Read here the response of our London childcare providers network project to the recent consultation on the draft Code of Practice on provision of the free entitlement for 3 & 4 year olds.  This is based on a seminar we organised in December 2009, in response to a need identified by the London childcare sector.   Participants came from across London, from private, voluntary and maintained sector providers, local authority staff and other London organisations. Numbers were limited to 30, to enable small group discussions, with a further 25 on a waiting list - an indicator of the strong interest in the topic!  See also the Daycare Trust national response to the consultation.
