Disability Inclusion Awareness Training

You are invited to a free 'Disability Inclusion Awareness Training'.

Daycare Trust has been working closely with Luton Borough Council since 2008 on one of the ten national  Disabled Children's Access to Childcare (DCATCH) pilot programmes. Based on this in-depth experience of the real needs of providers, and parents of children with disabilities, Daycare Trust and Families United Network have devised this new half-day training.

It aims to assist childcare service providers, across the age range, to make their settings more inclusive to children with disabilities and their parents. Many of these suggestions do not require additional cost but have a significant impact on how a parent and child are welcomed and included.
