George’s Marvellous Medicineat The Hexagon, Reading. Birmingham Stage Company’s brand new version of Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvellous Medicine comes to Reading this February half-term. It tells the hilarious story of a young boy who mixes an amazing potion to cure his grandmother of her terrifying temper. The Utterly Inventive World of Roald Dahl at the Oxford Playhouse on Friday 19 February. David Wood, the genius behind many stage versions of Roald Dahl’s stories, will be talking about the master-storyteller, Roald Dahl, and the craft of turning his stories into plays. World Book Day Party![]() It’s free admission on Thursday 4 March from 3.30pm to 5.30pm for our after-school party celebrating World Book Day and the launch of the Fantastic Mr Fox DVD.
