The Scout Association encourage outdoor adventures - with the help of nfpSynergy

A startling 7% of all young people never play outdoors -
that's
according to research we conducted for the Scout Association ‘Kids Outdoors’ campaign in 2008. We surveyed 1,000 young people and 1,000 parents to find out the barriers preventing kids from getting outside - you can read more about it here.

Commissioning research can be a useful tool to help shape your campaigns and attract media attention. To find out more about nfpSynergy's work in this area, email us at insight@nfpsynergy.net, or call on 0207 426 8888.

Charity donations in Scotland have dropped by 9 percentage points - men and the middle aged are noticeably thrifty

The latest research from our Scottish Charity Engagement Monitor shows that giving in Scotland has dipped significantly from April 08 to April 09 - just 71% of people say they have given in the last six months.

Scottish males and 35-64 year olds have fronted this new trend - read more about this research here, or download the charts.
